Mind creates your reality. An untrained mind is a bull in the China shop of your life. When you master your mind, you harness your original ability to be loving, calm and wise.
Do you get in your own way of happiness? Do you want to win the argument with yourself? Are you ready to manifest all the good and abundance out there for you? Personal Self Integration (PSI) is about moving forward, not dwelling on the past.
During a 50 minute PSI sessions you will learn and apply skills touching the heart for a greater feeling of wholeness. You’ll work on those skills. Follow ups are typically every 2-4 weeks to evaluate progress and refine your skills.
PSI is your personal master class in healing body, mind and emotions. It’s a path transforming pain into joy, confusion into insight, trauma into growth, and resistance into acceptance. You’ll learn to be wiser, kinder, loving and more compassionate with yourself and others.
If you’ve received therapy using CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectic behavioral therapy), IFS (internal family systems), shadow work, transpersonal or Jungian psychology, the PSI approach will feel familiar and comfortable.
What can Personal Self Integration do for you?
Frequently asked questions
Psychiatry is focused on what’s wrong and how to suppress or correct it. PSI focuses on what’s right and how to liberate and support it. In PSI we believe you are perfect, whole and radiant. Our goal is to return you to your origin by helping you removing the veils that obscure your nobility as a human being. Psychiatry focuses primarily on drug management and side effect monitoring, which is vital for those in an unstable or dangerous state of mind. As a medical doctor working in PSI, I focus on shepherding you through your journey of self-discovery.
PSI is not a substitute or replacement for the important role of mental health professionals. This work is invaluable when we feel like we are struggling to make it through the day and when there is concern of self harm or harm to others. PSI is better suited for those ready to soar to the heights of self-mastery and personal evolution.
Yes, because PSI is not therapy and does not substitute for counseling with a qualified professional. If you are getting good results with counseling, PSI can be a complementary approach.
We share similar goals but PSI techniques can be more direct in addressing the underlying issues. PSI cultivates a spaciousness for profound insights in a shorter time than traditional therapy.
If you feel your therapy has plateaued, PSI may be able to re-invigorate therapy.
As a holistic medical doctor, I found that physical healing can feel incomplete until the mind is healed as well. For me, healing the whole person is my highest expression of service in the art of medicine.
Sometimes it’s hard to make progress in mastering your mind until your hormones and neurotransmitters (brain chemicals affecting thought and mood) have been balance. Otherwise, it’s harder to find a quiet, stable state of mind to reflect and apply your PSI skills. My medical training helps me educate you on where to start: body, mind, or both.
If the focus of our work is personal improvement, start here with personal self integration (PSI). If your physical health issues are complex or affecting your mind, consider starting with my Medical Exploration service. If both are of equal importance, schedule two appointments: first Medical then PSI.
PSI has three simple principles:
- Love is the most powerful and transformative force in the universe. Only those who can love themselves can truly love and serve others.
- Happiness and peace can only be achieved through love and radical acceptance of what is. Nothing outside of us can provide lasting happiness or peace. It comes from within and is a choice you make.
- Human potential is not based on what we do, but how we love. We are defined not by what we’ve gained, but what we’ve given. We are cherished not for where we’ve gone but how we showed up for others and ourselves.
There are 3 basic skills of PSI. Once you learn them, every other skill can be taught:
- Self-observation: learn to recognize your habits and patterns. You cannot transform what you are not aware of. Learn to break free from habits in order to live consciously, creatively and intentionally.
- Self-insight: The only thing you can control is your perception and response to the world. Learn to look deeper into your own patterns of reaction rather than focusing on the uncontrollable patterns of others.
- Self-transformation: once you can see and know yourself, you are capable of transforming negativity to positivity. You shift your energy from predictability and stagnation to creativity and growth.
Yes! I offer small-group workshops and intensive personal healing experiences. When you are ready for transformative healing, intensive in-person events can take you to the next level. For over 8 years I’ve run intensive events for individuals and groups. In the focused setting of 1, 2 or 3 day healing sessions we can work on the following:
- healthy boundaries: in love, life and work, learn to get what you need without giving in, giving up or denying others.
- new perspectives on yourself and the world: open to life and release limiting-beliefs of who you are and what’s possible.
- move through trauma: transform the victim narrative into an empowerment narrative of what you chose to do today and tomorrow to have agency over your life
- non-violent communication: speak your truth without accusation or blame; listen to others without giving up or giving in, transform conflict into win-win situations.
- transformative meditations: enter into unconditional love and compassion for yourself and others
- deep visualizations: envision and manifest the health and happiness you seek
I want to transform my mind and change my life. I want to sign up for my first appointment of 60 minutes.
PSI with Dr. Hedayat is neither therapy nor a substitute for it.
